Community Service Chair: Lily Kate Jones

 

Lily Jones is a sophomore at Ann Sobrato high school, and will be serving as the community service chairmen for the 2025-2026 school year. In her first year in FFA, she competed in the opening and closing ceremony, where she won as president on her Greenland team, and competed in the Best Informed Greenland competition, where her team took 2nd. Due to her background in raising and showing livestock for San Martin 4-H, she was given the opportunity to raise a pig for the Santa Clara county fair in July, and will be showing a Market Steer in the 2025 Santa Cruz county fair in September. She plans to continue raising livestock for the rest of her FFA and 4-H career. Outside of FFA she is a club and school volleyball player, and has been competing since she was 12 years old. She spends most of her time on the school farm caring for, and preparing her animals for shows.
