Sobrato FFA Advisor Team
While you may think of them as just teachers at first, you'll soon learn that your FFA advisors are much more than that. Over the course of the year, they will be your classroom instructors, CDE team coaches, and great sources of direction and help as you continue on your FFA path. Here's a little information to help you get to know them a little better!
Mrs. Foss

Mrs. Foss is excited to be spending her sixth year of teaching here at Ann Sobrato High School. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.S. is Agriculture with an Option in Education and an emphasis in Plant and Soil Sciences. She teaches Ag Soil Chemistry, Art and History of Floral Design. Ms. Stoffel is the coach of the Floriculture CDE Team, and the Impromptu and Extemporaneous Speaking LDE. She also is the species advisor for swine. She looks forward to working with the other ag teachers to make Sobrato FFA the best it can be!

Mr. Nunes teaches Agriculture Mechanics and Agriculture Welding. This will be his first year at Sobrato and first year teaching Agriculture! Mr. Nunes grew up in the Central Valley in Modesto, CA. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Agriculture Science, minors in Agricultural Education and Dairy Husbandry, and Master's in Agricultural Education. He is immensely excited to start teaching at Sobrato! He is also co-advisor to our Sobrato FFA program. He coaches the BIG and Creed LDE contest.

Mrs. Lilly teaches Farm to Fork (a new class), Advanced Food Science, and Vet Science at Sobrato High School. This will be her second year teaching agriculture, but her first year at Sobrato High. She is the turkey and small animal advisor, and coaches the Impromptu and Prepared Public Speaking LDE teams. Mrs. Lilly grew up in the Central Valley and attended Hughson High School, where she was an active member of the Hughson FFA Chapter, raising swine all four years and participating on several CDE and LDE teams. Mrs. Lilly also attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, earning her B.S. in Agricultural Science with an emphasis in Ornamental Horticulture as well as a Masters of Agricultural Education. She is immensely excited to start teaching at Sobrato High School!
