​Olivia Chavez is a senior at Ann Sobrato High School. She has been in FFA since her freshman year at Sobrato and has participated in Greenhand Leadership Conference, State Conference 2023 and 2025, opening and closing 2024 and 2025, MFE, and ALA. On top of that, Olivia has been showing livestock since her freshman year of high school for her SAE project. She has shown 2 market pigs and 1 market steer at the Santa Clara County Fair and will be showing a 3rd market pig at the Santa Cruz County Fair in September. In her spare time she goes and competes at livestock shows with her steers and occasionally her pig. Her next projects include another market steer as well as a market lamb and potentially another market pig. Being her 4th and final year in FFA, Olivia is excited to serve as Sobrato’s 2025-2026 Chapter Reporter!
